• Fine lines and wrinkles

• Acne scars
• Enlarged pores
• Sagging skin
• Stretch marks
• Sun damage and hyperpigmentation
• Thread veins and vascular lesions
What makes us different?
While traditional resurfacing treatments like fully ablative CO₂ lasers can deliver impressive results, they often come with extended downtime, discomfort, and higher risks. At Laser Reverse, we take a different approach.
We’ve invested in the award-winning Erbium YAG fractional laser, a state-of-the-art device that delivers comparable results with greater precision, faster healing, and significantly reduced downtime. Instead of removing the entire top layer of skin, this method creates microscopic channels ("microcolumns") that stimulate natural healing while preserving surrounding tissue. This encourages rapid collagen and elastin production, giving you smoother, firmer skin with less interruption to your daily life.
Minimal downtime. Maximum impact.
Our fractional resurfacing technology allows you to enjoy the benefits of a high-performance treatment, without the need to disappear for weeks. Most clients experience visible improvements within days, with ongoing skin regeneration in the weeks that follow.

Skin Resurfacing FAQs
-
Erbium YAG laser is indicated for skin lesions such as sun keratosis, atrophic facial scars (acne, chickenpox), dyschromia (melasma, freckles), facial wrinkles, striae (stretch marks), sagging skin, large pores. Using pulses of variable depth, even patients with deep wrinkles can achieve excellent results.
-
Erbuim YAG treatment is generally very well tolerated and the patch test will assess your suitability before we accept you for treatment. However, you may notice heatbuilding up in the skin immediately following the procedure and its normal for the treated area may feel hot and sore much like moderate sunburn for a few hours. Redness of the skin is normal and may last between 1-3 days; and you should wait until the following day to apply make-up.
The skin may feel dry and tight and you may experience superficial peeling. Unlike CO2 laser skin resurfacing, blistering and crusting does not usually occur following the procedure. Dryness may also occur and non-irritating emollients can be used to hydrate the skin. Most people can be back to work within 3 days and back to normal social activities within 5-7 days. With more intense treatments, the recovery may be slightly longer.
-
All body areas can be treated with Erbium YAG fractional skin resurfacing, but its important to note that the facial skin, neck, décolleté and back of the hands respond best. The abundance of pilosebaceous glands in these areas, promote cells migration to the surface of the skin.
All types of skin colour can be treated except very dark skinned Afro-Caribbean.
-
Local anaesthetic numbing cream will firstly be applied to the area and left on for 30 minutes. We may also cool the skin prior to starting treatment, After the technician carefully sets the parameters, the Erbuim YAG laser is then gently passed over the selected site or target. A second pass may be performed depending on how much energy we are looking to deliver. Expect the laser feels warm as it passes over the skin.
-
The skin typically looks pink immediately after treatment, ranging from light pink for a micro peel, to intense red for a deep peel. Lower energy treatments will settle over a day or so, whereas deeper treatments will take a few days, and some weeping and oozing may also occur. Good sun protection is essential as the skin recovers.
As the skin heals it reveals fresher, younger looking skin and reduces surface irregularities and brown spots. New collagen continues to develop over 3-6 months.
-
For best results, we recommend a series of 3-6 treatment sessions performed every 4-6 weeks. The recommended number of sessions is dependent on what you want to treat and will be discussed during your consultation.
-
There is no evidence whatsoever to suggest that laser treatment can be linked to skin disorders or increased risk of skin cancer. However, as with any laser or light or energy based treatment, there is a very small risk of potential side effects such as pigment changes and scarring. Following the pre treatment advice and aftercare instructions will keep this risk to a minimum.
Laser Reverse is an award winning clinic and as such, our technicians are trained to an advanced level and have over 25 years on experience in dermatology and skin treatments– you are in safe hands!
-
Yes, patch tests are mandatory and we require a we require you to attend the clinic for a patch-test at least 1 week prior to your treatment (even if you have had this treatment done previously elsewhere). Your patch test will be conducted during your in person consultation. We recommend stopping retinol 5 days prior and avoiding sun exposure 4 weeks prior patch-test.
-
The results of this treatment are permanent. However, over time, due to environmental factors and the natural process of ageing, pigmentation or fine lines may return and pores may again become visible. Ongoing Erbium YAG laser treatment may be considered for more prolonged results.
-
Erbium YAG Fractional laser is not painful, but some patients find it mildly uncomfortable. We use a combination of numbing cream and colling, during and after treatment to minimise any discomfort.
-
We recommend that you pause any treatments like retinol, tretinoin, salicylic acid or glycolic for 14 days prior treatment and take care to minimise sun exposure for 4 weeks prior to and for at least 6 weeks after this treatment.
